While most modern web browsers display colors on the screen, many are set to
not print background colors and images (to increase print speed, save ink,
etc.). However, the satellite chart is more useful when printed in color. The
instructions for enabling color background printing for various web browsers
are shown below.
Internet Explorer 5.5+
From the Tools menu, select Internet
Options. Select the Advanced tab,
scroll down to the Printing section and check the
Print background colors and images box.
Netscape 7+
From the File menu, select Page
Setup. On the Format & Options tab,
check the Print Background (colors & images) box.
Firefox & Mozilla
Uses the same setup as described under Netscape above. (Note: When tested, the
chart color "spilled out" and filled the entire second page when printed.)
