Here are some minor channel name changes that took effect this year, Just to Note: Noggin is now called NICK JR // Nick Gas is now called TEEN NICK // Bet on Jazz is now called CENTRIC // Inspirational Life is now called HALOGEN // Discovery Home is now called PLANET GREEN // Fine Living will now be called COOKING CHANNEL // Discovery Kids is now called HUB.
Travel Channel is now being broadcast on C3-599, However it is no longer sold in the Discovery Package nor is it in current Discovery packages. It is now sold in the Scripps package
To Prevent the Loss of services at the end of the month, consider the following:
On the last day of every month, Motorola Access Control, sends out a Re-key. This is a signal that keeps all subscribed customers active. It is a requirement that 4DTV Receivers receive this re-key, to remain authorized. Without the re-key; 4DTV receivers do not update properly and likewise lose authorization for subscription programming. Prevention is simple and highly recommended for the last day of each month.
1) Turn the receiver off by 2am Eastern Time. The receiver should move the dish back to Satellite G1 to receive updates, OR:
2) Leave the system on but make sure it is located on any digital Channel that can receive a re-hit. Some examples of channels that can receive re-hits are G1-100, 150, 167 or G5-100 or C3-101 or G0-101.
4DTV Systems commonly tuned into satellite G3 may lose channel authorization at the end of each month without the re-key from Motorola. Satellite G3, is without a data stream capable of receiving re-hits, AKA (Re-authorizations) If the Re-key is not received then a simple re-hit will update the receiver.
Self service re-hits are available 24 hours a day at www.programming-center.net you have obtained a WEBSAMS Log in and pass word (Go to web site above , click on "Order/Payon line", select " order/Rehit services" from drop down menu , and then follow instructions )
Make sure when you request a rehit that the green DC light on the front panel of the 4DTV receiver is in the on position;
otherwise you will need to tune to a different location until the light comes on.
You will only be able to rehit current active services ordered from Satellite Receivers Ltd .
Also to note: We do not offer any Digital Channels on G3

| | The best place to do rehits for digital are located on a few satellites, for instance G1-3 or 150, or C4-250. Also if trying to rehit from W5 go to channel 440 or 430.
